1) shes trying to fit in and do things that are fun but finds out they can also mess up alot and not be fun anymore
2) if sam should trick or treat or not, if lindsay will hang out with her friends or not, and how trick-or-treating will work for the mom
3) then all of them work on both sides lindsay hangs out with her friends then ends out hanging out with her mom, sam goes trick-or-treating but wasnt having much fun so went and read his book anyway, and the mom eventually got to trick-or-treat with her mom.
